Standing Committee
The standing committees will be set up based on local ordinances. They are boards of representatives consisting of members with expert knowledge in a relevant area in order to professionally and efficiently review diverse and complex agendas related to local administration. There are three standing committees at our Council.

Major Duties
- Matters pertaining to the general Council affairs
- Matters pertaining to the Council operation
- Matters that belong to the Council office management
- Matters pertaining to local ordinances and conference regulations of the Council

Major Duties
- Matters pertaining to Planning and Audit Office, Civil Petitions Processing Office, Administration Office, Corporate Support Office, Finance Office, Welfare Policy Office, Culture and Tourism Office, Health Center, Lifetime Education Center and Sports and Juvenile Projects Office

Industry and Construction Committee
Major Duties
- Matters pertaining to Safety Affairs Division, Economy and Transportation Division, Forestry Division, Environment Division, Construction Division, Library Construction Division, Agriculture Technology Center and Geochang Affairs Division for Waterworks
Special Committees
